タイと日本で英語の授業研究を行なっています。
WordPressとWPDiscuz、Ultimate Memberというプラグインを使って授業研究アプリ・ウェブサイトを開発しています。
このアプリ・ウェブサイトは次のように活用されています。
授業の参加者が授業についてのコメント、動画、画像を授業のページに掲載し、これらにタグもつけます。
授業の後、授業研究会を開き、これらのコメントについて話し合い、授業者がこのコメント、話し合いから何を覚えたかを掲載します。
この発表では、授業研究のアプリ・サイトを紹介してから、今までの試行錯誤、解決していない動画・画像のアップロードの問題について話します。
参加者に、このセッション中、授業研究のウェブサイトを試すことができます。発表は日本語でも英語でもできます。
I am currently conducting English class lesson studies in Thailand and Japan. Using WordPress and the plugins Ultimate Member and WPDiscuz, I have developed a “Lesson Study” website/application with a colleague, Simon Townsend. In the application, observers write comments or upload pictures and video about the lesson and then add a tag to them. After the class, the teacher and observers discuss the comments, and the teacher writes what he/she learned from the discussion on the application/website. In this presentation, I will introduce the website/ application and discuss our trial and errors as well as problems we are experiencing with uploading pictures and video files. Participants can try the lesson study website during the session. This session can be done in either English, Japanese, or both.
